Eleni is a calm, professional and knowledgeable vocal teacher. She eases you into a lesson with her relaxed way of teaching. During the lesson she analyses your vocals and then if need be she brings out your weak parts, while she compliments your strong vocals. This way of teaching is of tremendous benefit to me as I did not have any vocal tuitions before. Her positive feedback and constructive criticism at the end of every lesson is a unique feature of learning vocals with Eleni. I am grateful for Eleni as she keeps me motivated by upgrading my exercises from time to time and adding new songs to my repertoire. My situation is special in that I have been singing for only 6 months and I do so at church in a language that I do not actually speak, so this requires a unique approach to coaching. After reading that Eleni can give lessons in Greek and through the numerous reviews about how awesome and gentle she is with children, I decided she would be a good fit since I am myself a 30-something year old child. During our short time she has provided me with a relaxed learning environment that has helped me to understand the foundations of proper breathing, vowel shaping, and finding the placement of my voice. After only 3 lessons I already have recognition from others that my voice has changed in a positive manner. Far from trying to provide quick fixes, she will take the time to coax out the beauty of an individual's voice, instilling a sense of confidence and strong foundational skills that can be relied on when your heart starts pounding before you have to sing. I half-begrudingly write this because I don't want her to get too busy to be able to teach me, but she is a gift that should be shared and you would be lucky to have the chance!
